Information KLD collects

KLD collects information that visitors and learners choose to provide. This may include name, email address, enquiry type, relevant pathway, message details, organization context, learning goals, current experience level, and timeline.

The current contact form prepares an email to KLD. Form details are sent through the visitor’s email client and email provider rather than stored in a site database by the form itself.

If a learner joins a course or cohort, KLD may hold learning records such as enrolment details, submitted artifacts, feedback notes, attendance or progress information, template submissions, and support requests.

  • Contact and enquiry details
  • Course access information
  • Learner artifacts and feedback
  • Technical site information
02

How information is used

KLD uses personal information to respond to enquiries, discuss learner fit, provide course access, support learning, review submitted work, improve the course experience, maintain the public site, and keep records needed to operate the institute responsibly.

KLD does not sell personal information. Marketing or update emails are only appropriate where a person has asked for information, has an existing relationship with KLD, or can opt out of further messages.

KLD may hold information in email systems, course workspaces, file storage, analytics, website hosting, and administrative tools. Service providers may process information in locations outside the visitor’s country, depending on the provider’s infrastructure.

KLD uses reasonable safeguards for the scale and nature of the service, including access control, limited collection, and removal or de-identification when information is no longer needed for a legitimate operating purpose.

Disclosure and learner work

KLD may disclose information to service providers that help operate the website, email, course delivery, payments, analytics, and administration. KLD may also disclose information where required by law, to protect the security of the service, or with the person’s consent.

Learner work is treated as learning material. KLD will not present an identifiable learner artifact publicly without permission.
